Why The Pre-Trib Rapture Clashes With Blood Moon Eclipse Tetrad 2014-2015

Guess what? Nothing happened during the last two Blood Moon Eclipses on Passover and Sukkot 2014. And, nothing will happen on the exact days of the next two Blood Moon Eclipses due in 2015. Thus, according to Rapture-embracers, any connections between the return of Jesus and Blood Moon Eclipses are unbiblical. The theory espoused by Mark Biltz, and pirated by Rev. John Hagee, has been debunked. Huh?

Please watch this video, if you want a good laugh. Chris White is another Christian neophyte attempting to explain something he doesn’t care to understand—Judaism and signs.
As an expert on the significance of the Blood Moon Tetrads, and of Messianic Jewish customs, I laugh at Pre-Trib Rapture propagandists when they delve into Jewish lore, and predict dates. By equating the Rapture with a specific day during the present tetrad, they are forcing a square peg into a round hole.

What does the Bible say about the Pre-Trib Rapture?
There are no verses specifically stating a Pre-Tribulation Rapture, or a specific date. Unlike all other Christian doctrines, the Rapture originated due to a lack of biblical evidence. Then, the Doctrine of Imminency (NOTHING needs to occur before the Rapture) was wrapped around the Rapture to protect it from collapsing under heavy scrutiny and criticism.

Based on the false hype alone, the Pre-Trib Rapture fails the biblical test of edification. It's more like a drug. The next time you hear someone scream "The Rapture could be today!" in your face, note their spirit. I believe their spirit belies a "Peter and the Wolf" false spirit, and a hyper-sensitivity to criticism. Look for it next time and note the fear emanating from their words. We should not fear death, but rather the One that can send us to Hell, and Hell itself.

Pre-Trib Rapture False Doctrine: All vague references to the timing of the Rapture come from the lack of verses talking about the church from Revelation 4 until nearly the end, and a couple of I Thessalonians verses twisted to mean something different. No other Christian Doctrines lack any supporting verses. Notice that the Pre-Tribulation Rapture proponents are constantly stating, "Soon!" and setting arbitrary dates? The proper mindset isn't errant date-setting, but rather, noticing signs in the skies that foretell something in the future, and that future could mean four to seventy years.
What do the rabbis say about signs in the skies?

Sukkah 29a It was taught: R. Meir said, Whenever the luminaries are in eclipse, it is a bad omen for Israel since they are inured to blows. This may be compared to a school teacher who comes to school with a strap in his hand. Who becomes apprehensive? He who is accustomed to be daily punished. Our Rabbis taught, when the sun is in eclipse it is a bad omen for idolaters; when Lavanah (Moon) is in eclipse, it is a bad omen for Israel, since Israel reckons by Lavanah (Moon) and idolaters by the sun. If it is in eclipse in the east, it is a bad omen for those who dwell in the east; if in the west, it is a bad omen for those who dwell in the west; if in the midst of heaven it is bad omen for the whole world. If its face is red as blood, [it is a sign that] the sword is coming to the world; if it is like sack-cloth, the arrows of famine are coming to the world; if it resembles both, the sword and the arrows of famine are coming to the world. If the eclipse is at sunset calamity will tarry in its coming; if at dawn, it hastens on its way: but some say the order is to be reversed. And there is no nation which is smitten that its gods are not smitten together with it, as it is said, and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments. But when Israel fulfill the will of the Omnipresent, they need have no fear of all these [omens] as it is said, Thus saith the HaShem,' Learn not the way of the nations, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven, for the nations are dismayed at them, the idolaters will be dismayed, but Israel will not be dismayed.
What does history say about linking signs in the skies with exact days/dates?

“The Jews have a teaching about comets. We are sure that it was Haley’s Comet that came through in 66AD. Four years later the destruction came. If we look at Haley’s comet in modern history, we see that it came through in 1910 and 4 years later WWI broke out. It came through in the 1980’s, four years before the first Gulf War broke out. In 1998 the Hale-boop comet came through our galaxy, one much larger than Haley’s comet. Four years later, in 2002 we had war going on in Afghanistan and Iraq (having suffered the major terrorist attack in 2001). Also, a meteorite shower appeared over Italy that looked like a sword in the heavens. Four years later, the Catholic Church started going through the great trials of the church because of homosexual predator priests. Think about it. The scripture tells us in Luke 21:25 that we would have signs in the sun, moon and stars.” - See more at: http://www.hissheep.org/special/hebrew/ancient_temple_signs_and_the_last_days.html
Should we link Jesus’ return with the present-day signs in the skies?
And Elohim said, Let there be lights in the raki’a of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for otot (signs), and for mo’adim (seasons), and for yamim (days), and shanim (years); Genesis 1:14 (Orthodox Jewish Bible)

Movements in the stars, planets, the sun, the moon, and wandering stars/asteroids should be viewed as signs or omens of something due in the near-to-distant future, and not something due on October 8, 2014. Only fools turn something celestial into exact dates.
God is very patient. Any signs from this present Blood Moon Tetrad only mean that we should expect something in four years or less, if God has determined a particular judgment for the Jews, or for the Gentiles. Please read your Bibles one more time (Matthew 24:29-31), and notice that a Pre-Trib Rapture is a false doctrine. Then, avoid the cash-cow Rapture Hype, for somebody wants to make money off frightening you about a thief-like Rapture. If you allow them to arbitrate the Rapture date for you, they will own you and your wallet. Then, consider God's signs to be signs, that need time and prayer to be interpreted. The Blood Moon Eclipse Tetrad is a sign from God, and that's it.

In earlier blog posts I’ve defended why the timing of the previous Blood Moon Tetrads make sense. – See more at: http://joelblackford.blogspot.com/2014/03/mark-biltz-blood-moon-tetrads-why-is.html
Relax and pray, because your redemption will arrive when the Father determines Jesus will arrive.
Shalom!

  1. My name is Yunus, me and my two colleagues, Rev. Jopie Rattu Ph.D. and Mr. Sridadi Atyanto, Ph.D. are studying the endtimes subject and have published some writings that can be found and freely download at www.endtimestrumpet.com.
We are thankful to our Lord Jesus to have discovered many things, some of which are: the fulfillment of 4 Jewish holy days, which is the feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, feast of Tabernacles and Hanukkah that occur precisely on the holy days with the same meaning. Other than that, we are also surprised that our timeline of the End of Times have the same sequence as was explained by Jesus Christ, all in the gospel Mathew, Mark, or Luke.
    Soli Deo Gloria.

  2. Yunus, I checked out your web site, and you seem to be wonderful men of God. Since your post is related to my strong feelings against the Pre-Trib Rapture, I'm wondering what your opinion is of the timing of the Rapture? Because all of the "Hype" and "Money" is in Pre-Trib Rapture publications, people like me are ignored or bullied by Pre-Trib proponents. My site is devoted to a healthy exchange of facts and opinions, based on the Bible. I wish that the other side was as cordial. They link me with "Legalism," "Cults," and "Heresy," and they call me names. Frankly, I don't care because Jesus will return soon and sort things out. Be Blessed!
