Would You listen To Jeremiah If He Described The USA’s Free Fall? Mark Biltz Video

The Dire Straits means it is the season (Moedim) for Woes. While every aspect of the world’s and the USA’s systems are failing, what should you do? I recommend reading Jeremiah, and then reading Isaiah. Why? The woes described by Jeremiah are eerily similar to what befalls us today. Jeremiah will help you see the world from HaShem’s perspective, and Isaiah will help comfort you (The three Dire Straits Jeremiah hafTorah passages are followed by seven Isaiah passages of comfort during the annual Torah cycle).

The USA isn’t eretz (the land of) Israel. However, in 1776, our Founding Fathers promised HaShem that our nation would bless Him if He blessed us. As always, He has kept his word, while we have broken our promises. By reading Jeremiah, you will understand why HaShem needed to judge the Hebrews, and He needed to judge the USA too. Because their wickedness was only increasing, HaShem had to act. Jeremiah catalogs the woes of Israel. Sadly, those same woes are bringing forth the downfall of the USA too.
How do you read Jeremiah? Don’t assume that you can understand Jeremiah if you begin at chapter thirty-one. The best chronological reading list is from Mark Biltz: http://elshaddaiministries.us/

Here is Mark's video:

The chronological chapters in order: Begin with chapter 1,2,12,15,16,17,11,3,4,5,6,26,27a, 13,14,23,25,36a,45,46,47,48,49,35,36b,30,22,31,24,29,28,27b,50,51,37,38,39a,52a,33,18,19,20,21,9,32,7,8,10,34,39b,52b,40,41,42,43,44,52c,52d.
If my list seems to have a mistake or two, please allow me chen (grace), or listen to Mark Biltz's sermon.

When you’re done reading Jeremiah, please comfort yourself with Isaiah. After surviving the Dire Straits, we need comfort.
"Comfort and keep comforting my people," says your God. "Tell Yerushalayim to take heart; proclaim to her that she has completed her time of service, that her guilt has been paid off, that she has received at the hand of ADONAI double for all her sins." A voice cries out: "Clear a road through the desert for ADONAI! Level a highway in the 'Aravah for our God! Let every valley be filled in, every mountain and hill lowered, the bumpy places made level and the crags become a plain. Then the glory of ADONAI will be revealed; all humankind together will see it, for the mouth of ADONAI has spoken." A voice says, "Proclaim!" And I answer, "What should I proclaim?" "All humanity is merely grass, all its kindness like wildflowers: the grass dries up, the flower fades, when a wind from ADONAI blows on it. Surely the people are grass! The grass dries up, the flower fades; but the word of our God will stand forever." You who bring good news to Tziyon, get yourself up on a high mountain; you who bring good news to Yerushalayim, cry out at the top of your voice! Don't be afraid to shout out loud! Say to the cities of Y'hudah, "Here is your God! Here comes Adonai ELOHIM with power, and his arm will rule for him. Look! His reward is with him, and his recompense is before him. Isaiah 40:1-10 (CJB)

Shalom!
