What Does Tehom Sound Like?

There are many references to the Deep/Abyss/Tehom in the Bible; yet, we don’t fully understand its significance. Is Tehom Hell? No, because Hell hasn’t been created yet. Is Tehom a place for imprisoned Nephilim (sons of the fallen angels, the ancient giant’s) spirits? Possibly, but we’re not sure why these spirits exist and why they would be imprisoned in Tehom. Sometimes the Bible leaves much to the imagination. Tehom is one of those vague biblical issues. Here is my midrash.

What is Tehom?

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was unformed and void, darkness was on the face of the deep (Tehom), and the Spirit of God hovered over the surface of the water. Genesis 1:1-2 (CJB)

Where is Tehom?

This is why it says, "After he went up into the heights, he led captivity captive and he gave gifts to mankind." Now this phrase, "he went up," what can it mean if not that he first went down into the lower parts, that is, the earth? Ephesians 4:8-9 (CJB)

Is Tehom lower than Sheol?

Many will follow their debaucheries; and because of them, the true Way will be maligned. In their greed they will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their punishment, decreed long ago, is not idle; their destruction is not asleep! For God did not spare the angels who sinned; on the contrary, he put them in gloomy dungeons lower than Sh'ol to be held for judgment. And he did not spare the ancient world; on the contrary, he preserved Noach, a herald of righteousness, with seven others, and brought the Flood upon a world of ungodly people. II Peter 2:2-5 (CJB)

Who is imprisoned in Tehom?

For the Messiah himself died for sins, once and for all, a righteous person on behalf of unrighteous people, so that he might bring you to God. He was put to death in the flesh but brought to life by the Spirit; and in this form he went and made a proclamation to the imprisoned spirits, to those who were disobedient long ago, in the days of Noach, when God waited patiently during the building of the ark, in which a few people — to be specific, eight — were delivered by means of water. This also prefigures what delivers us now, the water of immersion, which is not the removal of dirt from the body, but one’s pledge to keep a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Yeshua the Messiah. I Peter 3:18-21 (CJB)

Are disobedient spirits, originally called the Nephilim, imprisoned in Tehom?

The N'filim were on the earth in those days, and also afterwards, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them; these were the ancient heroes, men of renown. ADONAI saw that the people on earth were very wicked, that all the imaginings of their hearts were always of evil only. ADONAI regretted that he had made humankind on the earth; it grieved his heart. ADONAI said, "I will wipe out humankind, whom I have created, from the whole earth; and not only human beings, but animals, creeping things and birds in the air; for I regret that I ever made them." Genesis 6:4-7 (CJB)

Why are the Nephilim imprisoned in Tehom?

God reserved heaven, I call it Gan Eden, for the righteous; and he reserved hell, I call it Sheol, for the unrighteous. Where do you place the spirits of hybrid children that can’t go to either place? I submit that HaShem chose Tehom as a prison for these disobedient spirits.

I’m building a case that—as the Tehom is opening gradually around the world—you will hear it and sense the evil lurking underground. It’s possible that scorpion-like creatures will emerge from Tehom by 2018-2019, as the Fifth Trumpet sounds. I submit that we are beginning to hear the frightening sounds from Tehom.

Are there rules for Tehom imprisonment?

When an unclean spirit comes out of a person, it travels through dry country [Tehom] seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says to itself, `I will return to the house I left.' When it arrives, it finds the house standing empty, swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they come and live there -- so that in the end, the person is worse off than he was before. This is how it will be for this wicked generation." Matthew 12:43-45 (CJB)

If the foundations of Deep [Tehom] are breaking-up, what does Tehom Sound like (6 minute mark)?

This is what you may hear:

The fifth angel sounded his shofar; and I saw a star that had fallen out of heaven onto the earth, and he was given the key to the shaft leading down to the Abyss. He opened the shaft of the Abyss, and there went up smoke from the shaft like the smoke of a huge furnace; the sun was darkened, and the sky too, by the smoke from the shaft. Then out of the smoke onto the earth came locusts, and they were given power like the power scorpions have on earth. They were instructed not to harm the grass on the earth, any green plant or any tree, but only the people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads. The locusts were not allowed to kill them, only to inflict pain on them for five months; and the pain they caused was like the pain of a scorpion sting. In those days people will seek death but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them. Now these locusts looked like horses outfitted for battle. On their heads were what looked like crowns of gold, and their faces were like human faces. They had hair like women's hair, and their teeth were like those of lions. Their chests were like iron breastplates, and the sound their wings made was like the roar of many horses and chariots rushing into battle. They had tails like those of scorpions, with stings; and in their tails was their power to hurt people for five months. They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is "Abaddon" and in our language, "Destroyer." Revelation 9:1-11 (CJB)
