While I was speaking, praying, confessing my own sin and the sin of my people Isra'el, and pleading before ADONAI my God for the holy mountain of my God - yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gavri'el, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, swooped down on me in full flight at about the time of the evening sacrifice, and explained things to me. He said, "I have come now, Dani'el, to enable you to understand this vision clearly. At the beginning of your prayers, an answer was given; and I have come to say what it is; because you are greatly loved. Therefore look into this answer, and understand the vision. "Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and for your holy city for putting an end to the transgression, for making an end of sin, for forgiving iniquity, for bringing in everlasting justice, for setting the seal on vision and prophet, and for anointing the Especially Holy Place. Know, therefore, and discern that seven weeks [of years] will elapse between the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Yerushalayim until an anointed prince comes. It will remain built for sixty-two weeks [of years], with open spaces and moats; but these will be troubled times. Then, after the sixty-two weeks, Mashiach will be cut off and have nothing. The people of a prince yet to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary, but his end will come with a flood, and desolations are decreed until the war is over. He will make a strong covenant with leaders for one week [of years]. For half of the week he will put a stop to the sacrifice and the grain offering. On the wing of detestable things the desolator will come and continue until the already decreed destruction is poured out on the desolator." Daniel 9:20-27 (CJB)
Almost every biblical scholar since Sir Isaac Newton has an opinion on these verses. Most of them never had access to the internet and NASA. Messianic Scholar Mark Biltz and a group of loyal mathematicians and cyber bloggers are tapping into all the possible information and assessing it for prophetic cycles and patterns. Their findings are amazing, yet biblical.
Here is a quote from Mark Biltz, which is an excerpt from my book.
In 2008 I noticed a total lunar eclipse over the
Temple mount. It spurred me to look at the NASA website to see what the next
decade of eclipses looked like, as they have a list of thousands of years
backward and forward. I noticed four total lunar eclipses back to back in 2014
and 2015. They call that sequence a tetrad. When I switched the Gregorian dates
to the Jewish calendar, I noticed they also fell on the biblical holy days.
This was huge! Then when I discovered how infrequent these tetrads happen and
when they happened, I was astonished.
In Genesis 1, God said He created the sun and the moon for signs and for seasons. The Hebrew word for seasons here is “Mod,” which really means appointed times. So the sun and the moon were created to send signals to His people, especially when they occur on the biblical Holy days. So when I went back to the NASA web site for 2015 and looked at the solar eclipse page, I saw there were also solar eclipses on biblical Holy days as well in that year.
To summarize, in 2015 there is a total solar eclipse on Nisan 1 beginning the religious year, followed two weeks later by a total lunar eclipse on Passover, then another solar eclipse on the Rosh Hashanah, followed by another total lunar eclipse on the Feast of Tabernacles. So God is sending us signals that 2015 will be a very interesting year. As far as interpreting these signs, this is what I speculate. It could possibly be the beginning of the tribulation in which we only have a couple of years to prepare. But if it is the middle of the tribulation, we only have a couple of months to prepare.
If these eclipses in 2015 are what the Lord was referring to, then 2015 would look like a possible year for His feet to land on the Mt of Olives. And if this is true, then the tribulation could, not would, start this fall (2011) at the Feast of Trumpets (which technically is 2 days long: KJV Matthew 24:36: But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only). In light of all the prophetic events going on, I would say it is likely, but I’m not saying definitely. As far as the rapture, if you’re pretrib, then 2008 could be interesting, if you’re midtrib, 2012 could be interesting, if you’re prewrath, then 2014 might be interesting, if you’re a posttribber, then 2015 might be interesting, and if you’re amillennial, just sit back and watch the show! According to my research, 2014 and especially 2015 are the more important Jewish Festival calendar years, not 2012. This is based on lunar eclipses and feast days coinciding. The phenomenon of lunar eclipses on Passover, Sukkot, Passover, Sukkot in two successive years is called astronomical tetrads. Here are the future dates that coincide.
2014 Apr 15 = (Passover) with a Lunar Eclipse
2014 Oct 8 = (Feast of Tabernacles) with a Lunar Eclipse
2015 Sep 28 = (Feast of Tabernacles) with a Lunar Eclipse
Fifth Sequence: Suleiman (Solomon in Hebrew) the Magnificent begins rebuilding of the Jerusalem wall (August 25, 1539) plus 62 weeks of years is June 7, 1967 (Capture of Jerusalem) plus 7 more weeks of years is September 28, 2015 (Feast of Tabernacles). This is 490 years (if you count only the days in a 360 day year).
My opinion: 2022 minus 1539 is 483 years. If you add 7 years for burning and burying the dead (Ez. 39:9, then 2029 marks 490 years, a full judgment sequence. This sequence could happen.
1539 Sep 27 = (Feast of Tabernacles) - 2014 Oct 8 = (Feast of Tabernacles) Both are Lunar Eclipse days
1540 Mar 22 = (Passover) - 2015 Apr 4 = (Passover) Both are Lunar Eclipse days
1540 Sep 16 = (Feast of Tabernacles) - 2015 Sep 28 = (Feast of Tabernacles) Both are Lunar Eclipse days
