If you delete testosterone from the list of reasons why wars begin, you're left with covetousness as the number one reason, right? Every leader wants the more property and booty, and every subject wants food. When men spot a neighboring country with the items they need, men covet. Thus, wars are inevitable. There's a new spiffy title for covetousness-induced wars: Resource Wars.
If Germany wants land or money, they'll bomb you or start the EU.
If North Korea has hungry citizens, why not bomb a country with food?
If China covets lands under Japanese control, why not bully them?
If Russia...okay, it's always imperialism with Mother Russia.
And if the Christian USA wants western lands, why not commit genocide on Native Americans?
Do you see a pattern?
According to a new article from RT.com, we can expect to see Resource Wars soon. This is repackaging greed and calling it, "being drawn into military conflicts."
Now, let's repackage Resource Wars eschatologically:
The word of the
Lord came to me: “Son of man, set your
face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and
prophesy against him and say, Thus says
the Lord
God: Behold, I am against you, O Gog,
chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. And I will turn you
about and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army,
horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor, a great host, all of
them with buckler and shield, wielding swords. Persia, Cush, and Put
are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; Gomer and all his
hordes; Beth-togarmah from the uttermost parts of the north with all his
hordes—many peoples are with you. (Ezekiel 38:1-6 ESV)
My comment is that God prophesied of our greed thousands of years ago. And now we're seeing his prophecy unfold.
At some point in the near future, countries will be broke, hungry, lacking fuel and energy, and lacking clean water. The aggressors will attack, calling their efforts a Resource War, however we know what it will be: Greed.
After the currency wars come the real wars.
Please note that America is the "Breadbasket of the World." What happens when others are hungry and America won't share it's food with them? Resource Wars.
